Latest Frameless Motor from MYACTUATOR is Launching

For the release of this high performance frameless motor, Myactuator technicians conducted a lot of preliminary market research and overcame many design and process problems, accumulating many patented technologies. Team members have made systematic optimization and improvement in terms of electromechanical intelligence, electromagnetic characteristics optimization and manufacturing process, better meeting the demanding performance requirements of robot products for high precision, high torque density, low cogging torque and low heat generation.


At the same time, team members also fully considered cost factors. We have greatly reduced manufacturing losses by optimizing the process flow and self-developed process equipment; through the use of self-developed module products and the signing of long-term procurement agreements with major customers, we have formed centralized large-scale procurement, thereby effectively reducing material procurement costs; better benefiting the current small and medium-sized procurement needs of the robot industry.

2. Electromagnetic characteristic optimization
1)The segmented stator structure is adopted, and the stator frame is plastic-wrapped as a whole to improve the fit between the insulation layer and the core, which is beneficial to the heat dissipation of the motor; the space in the stator slot is fully utilized to increase the slot fill rate and improve the motor efficiency; the maximum efficiency of this series of motors can reach more than 90%; the overall efficiency is better than similar products at home and abroad.

2) Optimize the cogging torque Through scientific data simulation and multiple sample verifications, the team has comprehensively optimized the stator slot type, rotor punching and air gap design, making the cogging torque performance of this series of frameless motor products very excellent, achieving a cogging torque ratio of less than 3% of the rated torque. The following is the measured comparison data.

3) Motor torque performance improvement
Low speed and high torque are another major feature of this type of frameless torque motor. The Myactuator and DINGS teams have achieved an excellent performance of 10N.M/kg of maximum torque/weight ratio of low-voltage motor by optimizing motor split ratio, air gap flux and process weight reduction.

​3. Excellent manufacturing process and protective properties
The entire series of frameless products adopts an integrated epoxy potting process, and the insulation level of the whole machine reaches F level or above, which is waterproof and corrosion-resistant. The potting process provides good heat dissipation conditions for the stator, allowing the motor to work for a long time at 1.5 times the rated torque (under S9 working system); the built-in high-sensitivity temperature sensor provides motor temperature information in a timely manner, facilitating the system to effectively manage temperature.

​The following is an analysis of the features of the frameless series; 
1. Electromechanical Intelligence
Myactuator high-performance frameless motor deeply integrates multiple sensing devices such as high-precision digital Hall sensors, high-precision embedded magnetic encoding fusion sensors and temperature sensors. The encoder single-turn accuracy can reach 0.01 degrees, and it can achieve multi-turn counting when used with Myactuator drivers; The cost side also saves the input encoder for customers, and greatly facilitates the hollow design of the whole machine.
